Les Diablerets · along a hiking route

Chersaule

Discover this small hamlet along the paths above Les Diablerets. The official “Isenau–Les Diablerets via Chersaule” route starts at Lake Retaud and crosses alpine pastures: allow 15 km and 4 hr 15 min for the full route. Plan for a summer hike rather than a short village stroll.

Les Ormonts · a cultural stop

Vers-l’Église

About three kilometres from Les Diablerets, discover the cobbled square, church and Musée des Ormonts. The village has a railway station, making it a lovely way to combine walking and local heritage. Check museum opening times to complete your visit.

Ensex

A hamlet on the slopes of Chaux Ronde towards Col de la Croix. In winter, the official “Golf–Ensex” walking route leads here from the Villars Golf train stop, subject to conditions. Check whether the route is open before setting out.

Bex · an alpine pasture stop

Solalex

Continue your discoveries at the Solalex alpine pasture, beneath the striking Miroir d’Argentine and Diablerets massif. Stop to admire the mountains or head out on a walk. In winter, walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing access starts from Cergnement, subject to conditions.

Isenau

Above Les Diablerets, Isenau offers alpine pastures and mountain scenery. In summer, the alpine farm sells cheeses and local specialities. Combine a stop with a hike around Lake Retaud; check access and opening times before setting out.

Above Solalex, Anzeindaz, also known as Anzeinde, is a group of chalets at the foot of the Diablerets massif, around 1,900 metres above sea level. The broad plateau is a beautiful hiking destination for limestone scenery and alpine plants and wildlife. Stop at the Giacomini refuge during its opening season.
